Museum van Bommel van Dam believes in the power of modern and contemporary art. The power to amaze, to connect and to change. We believe that everyone in our society should have the opportunity to experience that power. We are convinced that art makes people think about the world, their immediate surroundings and their own role in society. We believe that raising awareness through modern and contemporary art contributes to the society of tomorrow.
Vision
As a Euroregional museum for modern and contemporary art, museum van Bommel van Dam is at the heart of society. Our programming is centred around interaction with our audience. What interests people and how can we respond to this through exhibitions, activities and projects? We look for connections with all layers of society. For us, modern and contemporary art act as the means to establish these connections. In this way, we contribute to the social and urban development of Venlo and the rest of the region.
