Museum van Bommel van Dam and Venlo City have launched the Circular Art Lab Limburg (CALL). CALL finds societal challenges and presents these, through a line of public calls, to artists and designers.

The artists and designers are invited to map unexpected chances and solutions, to make new connections, and to visualise scenarios of the future. CALL focuses on issues having to do with circularity and where the cradle-to-cradle mindset can inspire ways of thinking. Cradle-to-cradle (C2C) helps to create a comfortable and healthy living environment for now and later. The central focal point is the improved utilisation of resources and energy in such a way that, like in nature, there is no longer any waste or loss of value. This requires radically different products, processes, and collaborations. Only by not doing things less bad but much better we can truly shape a circular society.
For whom?
The program is meant for committed creators and thinkers who want to use their work to create movement and to make a difference. They are active on the border between art and society, for example as a participation artist or a social designer, and have a background in art, design, architecture, or the arts.
